Help us fund a STACKED summer of riding and enrichment.

Last year, we partnered with the fine folks at Haute Bicycle Co to revamp a cool steel Kona Unit hardtail and turn it into a trail shredding machine - raffling it off to help fund a big summer of rides and more.

We're going a little bigger this year, hoping to reach even more riders - and after a few amendments to improve the framesets via Haute Bicycle Co., bass-boat sparkle powder coat or custom hand-painting, we are ready to launch THREE incredible builds, based off of the Kona Unit framesets. Head to our BLOG here for more complete slideshows of each build.

For just $20 a ticket, you'll get one entry into a raffle drawing to win. The winner for each bicycle will be drawn on Monday, June 16th and announced via email and social media.

SMALL -
The size SMALL Unit build is designed around Richmond adventure riding, with a slightly narrower width tire and a handlebar that can accommodate all kinds of riding. Want to ride to Pocahontas State Park for a gravel rip? Planning on stopping to nab bagels in town and keep rolling for a few hours? Thinking about rolling to Pony Pasture to jump in the river after realizing Reedy Creek is too busy? Maybe you want to disappear into the woods for a couple hundred miles of gravel touring? No problem here. Enjoy a relaxed rigid gravel build with larger tire volume capacity, frame hand-painted by local artist Brad Bacon, upgraded gear toting ability (with three spots for bottle mounts and rear rack options), tubeless wheels, and a lighter steel frame that can handle anything you throw at it.

MEDIUM -
The size MEDIUM Unit build checks all the boxes for a fun, fast hardtail that can tackle all of our local trails. Take a rip through Northbank and Buttermilk, and practice your climbs in Forest Hill Park. Want to head out of town for tour? No problem! You have three pairs of water bottle mounts for cages, and the ability to securely mount a classic Mountain touring rack on back. With a lower-travel fork, you'll learn finesse through rock gardens instead of just monster trucking - technique over reliance on suspension - whether in your backyard trails or in the mountains. Take it on gravel tour (we all know Virginia "gravel" is often just mountainbiking) or explore the steep climbs that the Blue Ridge has to offer with that big ol' 1x MTB gearing. You'll be rocking Shimano XT wheels set up tubeless with grippy Vittoria tires - a wheel set you can trust to bite and hold you into turns. Powder coated a deep sparkle in the color "Disco Tangerine," we think this is a truly beautiful build that reflects the color of "Carolina Clay" we see in Virginia Dirt Racing tracks and in our own Richmond trails.

LARGE -
The size LARGE Unit build is designed to inspire adventure and fun, with trail-ability that just hollers "GET LOST!" Handpainted by local artist Ross Trimmer, burnished white-gold leaf panels and Sailor Jerry inspired star-fade motif reminds us of a 1970's custom moto or van. Rigid fork handmade locally by renowned ripper and frame builder VatFot - y'all know we coaxed Gurry out of retirement for this one! Powder coated clear with fine line paint by Ross Trimmer - like your custom van just landed some perfect pinstriping. This one's unique - not only was the frame modded with extra bottle cage mounts, but that handmade fork is one of a kind. Paired with Velo Orange Crazy Bars, this rig is made for all day riding, heading to the mountains for adventure, or picking up tacos to-go for a riverside picnic.

While ideally these bikes are won locally, we are totally willing to meet a winner anywhere that a two-hour drive from Richmond touches. DC? Okay. Raleigh? Sure. Harrisonburg? Point me to fancy coffee and we'll call it a deal. We are not adverse to shipping, and have plenty of experience boxing bikes to safely fly - so if you live far away - let's make arrangements to get it to you.

This raffle will run for the whole month of May, with the drawing for winners of each build on Monday, June 16th.
